Water-filled road barriers are hollow HDPE plastic barriers that are filled with water on-site to achieve their working weight. Unlike standard crowd control barriers, mojo barriers feature a curved, concave audience-facing panel that helps manage crowd pressure more safely, combined with a flat back section accessible to event staff. The interlocking system creates an extremely robust continuous barrier that can withstand significant crowd force.

Mojo barriers are frequently specified in international artist technical riders and are required by many venue safety standards for events above certain audience capacities.
